It’s always a beautiful moment in time when someone tells you that you INSPIRE them. You don’t have to necessarily know what you inspired them to do as long as it’s positive. Inspiration is an interesting moment in time because after you get inspired, then what? People need the extra push afterward, so maybe inspiration is something that must happen on an extremely consistent basis. Inspiration is needed when you want to be extraordinary because something so subtle can really make an impact on ones life. I want to be the source for inspiration whenever it’s needed. What’s great about this source is that you don’t necessarily have to do anything to give off that energy. Someone can just be watching you from a distance, while your doing great work, and that inspires them to keep formulating ideas to change the world. This topic is quite interesting because the person that you might have inspired doesn’t necessarily know that they inspired you. It’s a pay it forward process. One of my students inspired this post and in reference to that, last month I got to see her perform a poem at an event. Not only was I extremely excited that she finally was allowing the world to see her talent, but it reminds me that this is exactly the reason why I do this work. In some sort of ways inspiration for me could be the equivalent of money. Imagine a world where you get paid by how many peoples lives you have affected. That idea might sound UTOPIAN possibly. But lets try for it anyway. That’s the SWT life!
