In connection with Global Entrepreneurship Week 2009, Challenge Your World will launch an Idea Challenge entitled Action for a Better World. IdeaMakers from across the globe can submit their ideas for sustainable businesses that have a positive impact on society and the environment.
Step 1: Act on your idea
Imagine a business whose products or services would have a positive affect on society and/or the environment. Using text, an image, and/or a video describe your idea, the need it addresses, the target market and how it would benefit people and/or the planet.
Step 2: Vote for the top ideas
The Challenge Your World community will vote for their favorite ideas by giving them a “thumbs up”. The earlier you submit your idea, the longer it will be eligible for voting. Invite your friends, your family and your fans to register and vote for your idea. Voting ends on November 8, 2009.
Awards
A panel of Challenge Your World judges will select the top IdeaMaker, who will receive a $ 5000 USD incentive, 3 months of development support and services, and will be recognized during Challenge Your World Rendez-Vous 09.
The top 10 ideas as voted by the Challenge Your World community will be highlighted in the Featured section of our website and will also receive direct support to assess the potential of their idea.
Submission deadline
You will have until November 8, 2009 to submit your idea.
