Two great opportunities posted on the Philanthropy News Digest we we thought you should know about. First, the First Nations Development Institute wants to help support your youth culture project that supports native culture or tribal programs. First Nations is now accepting Letters of Intent (LOIs) for projects that focus on youth, and incorporate culture and tradition to address social issues such as drug and alcohol abuse, teen pregnancy, mental health or other social issues. LOI's are due by March 4th.

Next up, the Hitachi Foundation is seeking new applicants to their Young Entrepreneurs Program. If you are under 30 and are currently running a financially viable business with the intention of offering low-wealth individuals in America a leg up, check this out. The Foundation wants to show the world whats possible when business savvy and social purpose combine and has created this program to support you and your business. Each class of young entrepreneurs receives a cash prize and technical resources to support their work. Alex Velez and Nikhil Arora, founders of BTTR Ventures and speakers at TEDxYSE, are Young Entrepreneurs in this network. Who better to help them illustrate this than Venturers?
