Questions of Global Scale

This week, add your voice to the conversation on Socialedge about pathways to scaling social innovation.

Ashoka's Roshan Paul begins the discussion with a great example. "Do you wear contact lenses? I do. They are essential for me – I can't see much without them. I have no idea who invented them. But I know I can buy my lenses online or at any optician's, wherever and whenever I travel. That's how it works in the business sector – great ideas, driven by entrepreneurs, grow to serve customers around the world.
But social entrepreneurs see no such market forces in their fields. Breakthrough innovations too often remain local. We reinvent the wheel, and fail to bring innovations to where they matter."

What do you think- How can we best connect ideas and opportunities around the globe? Share your thoughts now!
