$120,000 in Prizes for Innovations in STEM Education

In parntership with the Carnegie Corporation of New York, Ashoka's Changemakers is giving away $120,000 in cash and gifts-in-kind to innovators in education. They're looking for the brighest and most exciting ideas for enriching STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education for high-risk youth in the U.S.

Venturers can submit themselves or be nominated by someone else. Early entrants (submitted by 5PM EDT June 22, 2011) get a chance at receiving a consulting session each with experts from Ashoka’s Changemakers, Carnegie Corporation of New York, and The Opportunity Equation. The deadline for all entries is August 3, 2011. Check it out at the Changemakers website.
