
Save your potato chip bags and invent something!
Have you ever sat in a class and wondered, “Why do I have to learn this?” or “What’s the point?” If you are a student in grades 4-8 living in Ohio and Pittsburgh area, you could win a cash prize for your invention using potato chip bags!
The National Museum of Education invites you to enter the Shearer Perfection Student Contest! You will have the chance to show them your creativity and ingenuity in using at least one, or as many as you need, of the Shearer’s brand of potato chip bags in your invention. They will select 10 semi-finalists from which you could become the 1st place winner receiving $5,000! (There are prizes for the other semi-finalists, too.)
