Generation Citizen leads students to make change in their communities by partnering trained college volunteers (Mentors) with secondary school teachers to implement an "action civics" curriculum in which students learn civic skills by choosing and taking action on an issue they care about. Students have focused on issues including gang violence, immigration, teen jobs, and health care. The organization needs someone to help expand its efforts to reach 20,000 students!
